It should not be surprising if newly drafted players with both an extremely long swing and an ego to match claims to be a professional hitter!

Actually, it is not their mistake. These young upcoming players are fooled into thinking that they are professional hitters and that they are the most talented ones! In reality, their performance is attractive not because of their talent but because they had an aluminum bat swing!

Players with a typical aluminum bat swing, no doubt, have great success in high school and college. Such players are quite reluctant to change their swings. As they get consistent successes, they do not listen to the instructions given to them regarding their swings.

Finally, these players spend years of struggling in the low minors. When they realize that they cannot get a chance in big leagues, they decide to listen and pay heed to the instructions.

But, unfortunately, it becomes too late by then. They already get habitual of making long swings due to the prolonged use of their aluminum bats!

These players are advised to change their order if they are willing to have some success as a professional ball player. But, let me make it clear that they can advance to the AAA level, but will never be able to attain the success that they could have got if only they had paid little heed to the instructions given to them earlier.

Development of an improper swing and the incorrect training of the muscle memory prevent them from getting instant success. They fail to showcase their potential.
