Titanium Alloys - Ti3Al8V6Cr4Mo4Zr Grade 19 and 20
Ti3Al8V6Cr4Mo4Zr Grade 19 (Beta C)
This metastable beta alloy is strip producible and cold formable. The alloy has been used for springs, fasteners, torsion bars and as extruded tubulars for deep sour well applications and is listed with the MR0175 approved alloys. The alloy is heat treatable to a wide range of strengths.
Beta C Grade 20
Grade 20 has identical mechanical and physical properties to Grade 19 but has the addition of palladium (0.04-0.08%) to increase its corrosion resistance in extreme sour environments at elevated temperature.
