Motorola Razr - A Future Classic?

The Motorola Razr V3 was released and marketed as a trendy phone with a sleek design. Well, as the Motorola v3 Razr has become more and more popular it beginning to look like that very design that they marketed as trendy is going to quickly become a future classic design. Already there are rival phones copying the slim shape and packing in as many features as the razr.

As technology allows us to have smaller and smaller phones, one of the common things we are going to see is a thin profile and a wider face. This is of course exactly what the Motorola v3 Razr is and what it has contributed to the designs of future cell phones. Even Motorola’s newest release the Motorola Q follows that same basic design of thin profile wide face, as does the Blackberry and other similar mini-computer cell phones.

The Motorola v3 Razr’s original design featured so many new innovations like the twin screen color display with its 176 x 220 pixel display that allows you to see more clearer and more vibrant colors and images. Or the new metal keypad that is a first for a cell phone. This precision cut metal keypad is nickel plated, and made to catch the eye of users. Of course you can’t forget the overall look of the thin cover of anodized aluminum that gives the phone its metallic sheen. Once the Razr V3 was seen in the hands and handbags of celebrities and celebrities wannabe’s it future was assured. Following on from the Initial V3 came many other versions, colored, designer versions and limited editions packed with more features and functions.

The Motorola v3 Razr’s design is one for the ages and is being used to inspire Motorola and other cell phone companies to improve their cell phones in the future by implementing features of the classic design that is the Motorola v3 Razr. That alone should be enough to ensure it place as a classic phone in the future.
